Project architect Huys co-heads (with Hendrik Vermoortel) Belgian architecture and interior design practice Buro2, transformed a couple of years ago an old barn into a stylish new home in the rolling hill of Central West Flanders.
The house includes living, dining and resting areas, but also a library and a small mezzanine hosting the en suite bedrooms. The owners of the house can enjoy from the wide and relaxing views on the countryside of the barn. The architect created several openings, with two large windows at the two ends of the barn’s long rectangular shape.
