The Bookinist, is a design from the German designer Nils Holger Moormann.
It is a new design from 2007 and not a prototype but a very practical piece of furniture that substitutes for four. The Bookinist is avaible in two different colors and is made from Birch plywood.
If it would be too heavy when it is filled with books, it can be rolled to the desired place by a big rubber wheel.
The first time I saw it was 3 months ago. I saw it threw the window of a small showroom in Venice in Italy. I tried to get inside but unfortunately, the showroom was closed so I didn’t got any more information (or name) about this chair. Fortunately I just saw an article about it in a old Frame magazine
